ENVICOP PROJECT MEETING AND RESEARCH SEMINAR, PORTO, PORTUGAL

The 4th Envicop Project Meeting and Research Seminar on the topic of “Dune erosion protection & Shoreline management’’ was held in Porto , Portugal in the premises of Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto on 14– 15 Aapril 2014. Meeting was attended by experienced (ER) and early stage researchers (ESR), representing ENVICOP project partners. Meeting has been organized concurrently with the 3rd European IAHR Congress, that gave the opportunity of ENVICOP participants to attend also a big international event in the field of hydraulic research. Three joint ENVICOP scientific papers have been presented at the congress.
Programme
- Joint Research Seminar: 3 targeted scientific sessions, 9 reports/presentations related to the project activities have been delivered by ER and ESR
- Partners Meetings: A series of bilateral meetings and discussions between partners have been carried out to advice joint research cooperation and specify further research exchange.
- Study visit: A study visit to the experimental hydraulic facilities at FEUP ha been organized.
- Meeting of Steering Committee. A Project consortium Meeting (Steering Committee) has been carried out, to evaluate Project progress.
